What Went Down On Night 2 Of The RNC

I’m not sure that Tiffany’s speech wasn’t on point. She’s a recent law school grad, and I think this part of the convention is about Trump’s promotion and nurturing of women. The fact that she’s a well-spoken adult seems to kind of do a lot of the work.

Kim Reynolds is, I believe, the most populous state governor speaking at the RNC, and Iowa ranks just 32nd in population. The absence of Greg Abbott of Texas, Brian Kemp of Georgia, Mike DeWine of Ohio and Ron DeSantis of Florida is pretty noteworthy.

Tiffany Trump shared some memories of her father in her RNC speech in 2016 — but as I recall, it came off a little stilted. Maybe that’s one reason they went another direction this time?
