According to Morning Consult, Republicans’ most popular figure is speaking tonight: First Lady Melania Trump, with a 45 percent favorability rating. However, that’s … not that high, which speaks to how unpopular or unknown the other major figures in the GOP are. When Morning Consult conducted a similar poll for the DNC, four Democrats had higher favorability ratings than Melania Trump. Michelle Obama’s was the highest, at 60 percent.
