In 2016, Trump made some concerted outreach to Latino evangelicals, and born-again evangelicals were likelier to vote for Trump than other Latinos — A majority (60 percent) still voted for Clinton, but 37 percent voted for Trump, according to Latino Decisions. For comparison, 79 percent of Latinos overall voted for Clinton, while only 18 percent voted for Trump.
