I guess Washington probably does matter for whether Sanders’s supporters keep their heads up. To be honest, I’ve been surprised at the sense of resignation I’ve seen from Sanders supporters on Twitter.

I’ll take none of the above, Clare. No going gentle, always fussing and fighting and pointing out all the reasons why he should have won but didn’t. And then no supporting Biden, either.

I think a lot of Sanders’s supporters are still ready for a fight. Especially if Sanders does reasonably well in a state like Washington, I think they’ll want him to press forward for a while longer.
