What Went Down In Michigan, Washington And Other Democratic Primaries
Meanwhile, Sanders’s margin is down to 6.7 percent in California, which is still slowly … very slowly … counting its vote. His margin was about 9 percent on election night, but late returns, which reflect Biden’s post-Super Tuesday surge, have been comparatively better for Biden.
Counties don’t vote (people do), but I think this is telling: Right now, Sanders is leading in only four Michigan counties: Washtenaw (Ann Arbor), Kalamazoo, Kent (Grand Rapids) and Grand Traverse (Traverse City). In 2016, he won all but 10 counties. That support across rural Michigan has just evaporated.
Update: Looks like everyone in line in North Dakota is now through voting.
