What Went Down In Michigan, Washington And Other Democratic Primaries
Wow, that doesn’t seem great for Sanders, Nate — he held a huge rally at the University of Michigan on Sunday night.
Sanders is winning Washtenaw County, home to the University of Michigan, by only 1 point, per Decision Desk HQ. That’s not a good result for him, although I don’t know if those are student-heavy precincts reporting or not.
Biden also won big among white college-educated women in Missouri, according to the preliminary exit polls: he got 58 percent of that group, while Sanders only got 35 percent. If that pattern persists, it’s not a great sign for Sanders, since white college-educated women were a big part of Warren’s base on Super Tuesday. Despite Sanders’s ideological similarities with Warren, it wasn’t clear that her supporters would fall in line behind him.
