What Went Down In Michigan, Washington And Other Democratic Primaries

Nate, it’s interesting to me that Sanders won the Grand Rapids area so decisively in 2016. It’s a pretty conservative, religious area. As a native Michigander, can you shed any light on it? Is the Democratic vote there really progressive or something?

Warren has yet to endorse either Biden or Sanders, but ABC is reporting that more than 30 Warren campaign staffers have signed onto a letter that announces their support for Sanders.

In previous primaries, both Biden and Sanders have been somewhat stronger among voters without a college degree than those with a degree. In Mississippi, at least, Biden and Sanders’s support doesn’t seem to differ much by voters’ education — Biden won among both groups by a similar (and wide) margin.
