In Missouri, 68 national convention delegates are at stake based on the results of today’s primary (44 based on the results in the state’s eight congressional districts and 24 based on the statewide vote). At the time of polls closing, ABC News awarded 13 to Biden and five to Sanders; all of those are statewide delegates. ABC has also awarded eight of Mississippi’s 13 statewide delegates to Biden. Mississippi also has 23 delegates that will be allocated based on the results in the state’s four congressional districts. Candidates must get at least 15 percent of the vote to be eligible for delegates.

Once again, black voters are coming up big for Biden. According to preliminary exit polls, he is winning 84 percent of them, while Sanders is winning just 13 percent. But Biden is also crushing Sanders among white voters in the Magnolia State, 66 percent to 32 percent.

ABC News and most of the networks are not projecting Missouri yet, although the Associated Press has called it for Biden. All of this is just based on exit polls; I probably err more toward the network side in wanting to see at least a few results before projecting.
