What Went Down In Michigan, Washington And Other Democratic Primaries
Once again, black voters are coming up big for Biden. According to preliminary exit polls, he is winning 84 percent of them, while Sanders is winning just 13 percent. But Biden is also crushing Sanders among white voters in the Magnolia State, 66 percent to 32 percent.
ABC News and most of the networks are not projecting Missouri yet, although the Associated Press has called it for Biden. All of this is just based on exit polls; I probably err more toward the network side in wanting to see at least a few results before projecting.
The result in Mississippi is hardly a surprise; our forecast gave Biden a greater than 99 in 100 (99 percent) chance of winning there. So this isn’t automatically a problem for Sanders. We’ll have to wait to see what the margin is, though.
