One of the unique things about primaries in Pennsylvania is that each candidate’s home county is displayed next to their name on the ballot. That can exacerbate regionalism in the results. For instance, in the gubernatorial primary, former Delaware County Councilman Dave White is winning about 8 percent statewide. But in Delaware County, he’s winning 50 percent of the vote!
