And to Nathaniel’s point about ticket-splitting — if Mastriano and McCormick appear on the general election ballot together, there’s some precedent we can look to. In 2016, Trump and outgoing Sen. Pat Toomey were on the ballot together. Toomey did better in the Philadelphia suburbs while Trump did better in more rural parts of Pennsylvania.
