ABC News is projecting that Chris Deluzio is going to win the Democratic primary for Pennsylvania’s 17th District. Deluzio told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: “… What my campaign is about is putting our common good first, fighting for our shared prosperity, our dignity, our civil rights, our democracy — that’s what I’m about.” Front-runner Shaffer is expected to win the Republican primary. Total votes in the Democratic two-way contest have so far been higher than on the Republican side.
