People looking at Pennsylvania’s electoral geography sometimes talk about the Republican “T”, meaning the red in the center of the state and in its northeast and northwest. But with the early results in the GOP Senate race, we’re seeing another pattern that’s more of a curve. Oz seems to be doing better in the parts of the state south of Blue Mountain — the 250-mile ridge that separates the southeastern part of the state from the more mountainous parts north and west — while McCormick does better to its north and west.
