Houchin has raised concerns about election fraud. As state senator, she authored a voter restriction bill that she said was motivated by a desire to prevent fraud (but the bill died in session). Other candidates running in the 9th District, including Jim Baker and J. Michael Davisson, have also raised concerns about election integrity.
