Our colleagues at ABC News are reporting that Darren Bailey is projected to win the GOP nomination for Illinois governor. Given that Bailey is a loyal Trump supporter and Illinois is a pretty blue state, this likely takes Illinois governor off the table as a pickup opportunity for Republicans in the fall.
