We’re up to 35 percent of the expected vote in for Illinois’s 3rd District, and state Rep. Delia Ramirez’s lead over Chicago Alderman Gilbert Villegas appears to be growing. Right now, she’s sitting at 66 percent versus Villegas’s 24 percent. I expected this race to be more competitive, honestly, especially given that progressive candidates have had mixed success this year.
