I’m watching the Republican primaries in the 14th and 17th districts in Illinois tonight. These two districts have been redrawn to lean Democratic, but Republicans are working pretty hard to win them. In the 14th right now, with 6 percent of the expected vote in, Kendall County Chairman and designated endorsed-by-everybody moderate Scott Gryder is in the lead with 24.3 percent.
