And with 56,000 votes counted in the New York 23rd special election, Della Pia leads Sempolinski 51 percent to 49 percent. The outcome here isn’t in too much doubt, though: Sempolinski has been gaining here, and I am quite sure that the Republican will eventually take the lead.
