(R) Key Race Projected
In the GOP primary for New York’s 1st District, ABC News projects that Suffolk County legislature chief of staff Nick LaLota will be the winner. He currently has 47 percent of the vote, enough to defeat Michelle Bond and Anthony Figliola. Bond benefitted from outside spending from cryptocurrency interests but it wasn’t enough to get her close. She has just 28 percent, followed by Figliola’s 25 percent.
