The 19th District special election continues to be a nailbiter. Ryan holds about a 7-point lead, 53.6 percent to 46.4 percent, over Molinaro, with about 94 percent of the expected vote reporting. Thing is, the expected vote projection keeps going up, which is good news for Molinaro given the strong Republican trend in the Election Day vote. Most of the vote appears to be left out in slightly blue-leaning Rensselaer County, red-leaning Otsego County and a little from redder Delaware County. How that plays out is hard to tell, plus with any other votes that might be left in the other counties.
