Votes are still coming in for New York’s 1st District, but so far, Nicholas LaLota is out on top with 48 percent of the vote over his two opponents — Michelle Bond (29 percent) and Anthony Figliola (23 percent). They’re all looking to fill the seat vacated by Rep. Lee Zeldin, the Republican nominee who will face Gov. Kathy Hochul in the gubernatorial race this fall.
