Our colleagues at ABC News have projected that Gillen has won the Democratic primary in New York’s 4th District — and it isn’t close. This comes despite opposition to Gillen from the chair of the New York Democratic Party, who worried Gillen would have trouble winning the general election. However, since this open seat has a partisan lean of D+10, it would take a pretty huge red wave in order for Gillen to lose.
