We have a projection from ABC News in Florida’s 11th District: Rep. Daniel Webster is projected to win the GOP primary, fending off far-right challenger Laura Loomer. But it was a close race, with Loomer getting 44 percent of the vote to Webster’s 51 percent with 95 percent of the expected vote in. It’s notable that this was such a close race, given how long Webster has comfortably been winning elections in this region and how extreme Loomer is, even if the incumbent managed to cling to his seat tonight. With a district partisan lean of R+19, Webster will likely be headed back to Congress for a seventh time.
