In Florida’s 13th District, ABC News projects Air Force veteran Anna Paulina Luna will win the GOP nomination over attorney Kevin Hayslett. Luna ran a competitive race against Crist in the 2020 general election, but now under the new, more Republican-friendly lines, she will be a heavy favorite in November. Defeating Hayslett may be personally satisfying to Luna, too, as one weird twist in the race was that, prior to running, Hayslett served as the attorney for a minor GOP contender who Luna took to court over stalking charges. The case was dismissed, but Luna ended up defeating Hayslett to end the GOP primary saga.
