Val Demings is projected to win the nomination, which was widely expected heading into tonight as she faced minimal opposition. The question now will be whether she can unseat Sen. Marco Rubio in the fall. Her odds are not negligible in the FiveThirtyEight forecast, at 15 percent, but not great either.
