There isn’t much action in Delaware tonight, but the normally sleepy race for state auditor is actually interesting tonight. Incumbent Democrat Kathy McGuiness was convicted earlier this year on charges of official misconduct and conflict of interest related to hiring her daughter for a job in her office. However, she has refused to resign, and so it was up to fellow Democrat Lydia York to take her out at the ballot box tonight. It looks like she has done so: York is demolishing McGuiness, 69 percent to 31 percent, and the Associated Press has called the race.
