Sarah, I was kind of expecting Morse to do better tonight than in the polls. There was only one poll of the race taken after Aug. 29, so we’ve kind of been flying blind for the past two weeks. And there was reason to believe Morse would come on strong at the end: He had far more cash on hand than Bolduc, and Morse’s D.C. allies swooped in at the last minute with a big ad buy.
