Why is McKee in so much trouble? As Geoff and others have said on the live blog, part of this is that he’s mired in scandal of his own creation, but we also can’t ignore the fact that McKee succeeded to his position and politicians in his situation (both gubernatorial and Senate candidates) don’t seem to enjoy an incumbency advantage. Why?
