Last year, I took a magnifying glass to Klobuchar’s 2018 U.S. Senate race and found that she did very well in wealthy Minneapolis suburbs — but also that her famous overperformance in Minnesota didn’t extend to communities of color. I feel like that could be a weak spot for her going forward too, just as it had loomed for Buttigieg.
