Sarah, Sanders is winning some moderate voters and Buttigieg is winning some liberal voters so I don’t think you can assume they all have pure ideological faction support. It’s also striking that Warren may have a disappointing finish without her voters moving to Sanders. Nonetheless, it is true that no moderate has been able to consolidate support and that moderates will need to decide on a Sanders alternative if they want to defeat him.
