The obvious call is Bennet, who was clearly trying to hold on until New Hampshire but has no real path forward. But for dropping out, I’m going to go out on a limb — IF Biden gets like 7-8 percent and finishes a distant fifth tonight, he’s going to field a lot of calls from people asking him to think of the party and drop out. And I kind of think he might actually leave the race, though it might not happen until next weekend or something. Maybe I’m crazy. But his fundraising is going to dry up, if it hasn’t already. They’ll probably try to get a read on Nevada first, obviously. But I just wouldn’t be stunned.
