What Went Down In The 2020 Nevada Caucuses
The only plans I made for this weekend were for dinner … on Sunday. Feeling equal parts good about my prescience and 😬 about everything else.
Meanwhile, I don’t think we’ve gotten any new results in maybe half an hour? #BanTheCaucus
You want more more preliminary entrance poll crosstabs while we wait for results? Well, looking at candidate support by age and ideology, there’s actually several things of note. First, while very liberal young people make up Sanders’s core constituency, he also does very well with somewhat liberal and even moderate young people, and quite well with very liberal older people, too. And second, moderates’ support is split by age: younger moderates like Buttigieg (in addition to Sanders), while older moderates like Biden.
