I observed a precinct chair training yesterday and the chairs were told at least five times not to share the hotline number, presumably to guard against any outsiders trying to jam the lines, as reportedly happened in Iowa.

Welp, there are a few reports circulating online of precinct chairs having trouble getting through to the hotline to report results. This was part of the problem in Iowa, though in that case the hotline was supposed to be a backup. In Nevada, it’s the first course of action for reporting results.

As it looks like Nevada is going super well for Sanders, they’re talking on TV about “What’s going on in the Democratic Party” — I couldn’t help thinking about what you were saying, Perry, about young voters and how poorly Biden is doing with them. Obviously Sanders does well with young voters, but Biden does horribly with them. And I sorta of wonder whether the primary so far basically comes down to the establishment settling on a candidate that was just DOA for young Democrats.
