What Went Down In The 2020 Nevada Caucuses
Sarah, I don’t think anyone should make too big of a deal about the difference between, say, finishing second with 17 percent and finishing fourth with 13 percent. Both are fairly mediocre performances but don’t indicate a campaign on life support. I think Warren will probably try to soldier on until Super Tuesday, when there are some more demographically favorable states for her and where she probably hopes her debate performance will factor into more people’s votes.
I wonder if Warren sticks around in part because she apparently raised quite a bit of money after the debate. If she’s going to stay in the race, she’ll need campaign funds, and the last debate helped on that front. Another debate to tangle with Bloomberg might buoy her fundraising numbers further, too!
I wonder if she’d want to hang on for the next debate, hoping it could give her a lift for Super Tuesday, rather than focusing on South Carolina in the short term, Sarah.
