What Went Down In The 2020 Nevada Caucuses
The Nevada caucuses have featured a lot of talk about the power of labor unions in the Democratic Party, particularly the Culinary Union. But while they may be a very important part of the electoral landscape in Nevada, it’s not clear how much unions affected vote choice. According to the preliminary entrance polls, 24 percent of voters said that someone in their household belongs to a labor union compared to 76 percent who said otherwise. But the preliminary data show very little difference in candidate support between union and non-union households.
The Biden group at this site is having a little trouble getting volunteers to be delegates for their state convention. They get 19 delegates and there are 45 supporters here.
