In last year’s tournament, there were two bid thieves who had wildly different experiences in the Big Dance. Oregon State went 14-12 in the regular season, then won three straight in the Pac-12 Tournament, then kept rolling in the NCAA Tournament, upsetting Tennessee and Oklahoma State en route to the Elite Eight. Meanwhile, Georgetown went 9-12 in the regular season, then won four games in four days at MSG and was a no-show in the first round, losing 96-73 to Colorado. So far, Richmond fits the Oregon State profile, building off its A-10 Tournament run.
