I know that there have been some studies showing that high turnover rates in young lead guards can actually be a good sign for their development, so issues with trying to create too much in transition wouldn’t be my biggest worry. The half-court, within-the-flow questions are more interesting. I’d like to see him against a non-Ivy League defense to get a better idea of how he handles it.

Boeheim and Krzyzewski get all the attention, but Yale’s James Jones is only somewhat behind them on the list of longest-tenured active men’s head coaches. Jones has been coaching the Bulldogs since the 1999-2000 season, which is tied with Gonzaga’s Mark Few for the sixth-longest active tenure (and as you may have heard, that Coach K guy will be leaving the list soon).
