South Dakota State, which scored 1.229 points per possession in Summit League play, has just 29 points in 40 trips today. Providence leads by 14 with 15:41 to go.

Getting Providence and Memphis in the first three games is a win for all of us. I have no idea which Memphis team shows today (or any day).

At some point the shots were going to fall for Michigan, but the size difference is considerable and weighing on Colorado State, the third-shortest team in the tournament, according to KenPom. Michigan goes 6-foot-8, 6–foot-11, 7-foot-1 along the front court. Colorado State has a single guy > 6-foot-8 who consistently plays. Michigan is +6 on the glass but it feels like a bigger split.
