What Went Down In The Michael Cohen Hearing

Cohen just briefly mentioned Hope Hicks, which has me thinking … Do we think someone like her would be called to testify, or is she out of the picture? It seems to me like she was in a lot of rooms.

For what it’s worth, Cohen is going to prison for three years (and not less) in part because prosecutors said he wasn’t as helpful to them as he could have been. He wanted to pick and choose which information he shared with them, which is not how cooperation agreements are supposed to work.

Well, I was mostly agreeing with Perry about the fact that we’re not going to suddenly get some damaging email proving coordination between Trump and Russia. No idea what the representatives think is going to emerge — but I think the precedent of the Nixon tapes makes a damning paper trail seem more possible than it is.
