What Went Down In The First Round Of The NCAA Tournament
Not a lot of lower seeds were favored entering the tournament in either the men’s or the women’s tournaments. One exception? We gave No. 10 Buffalo a 51 percent chance of beating No. 7 Rutgers in the women’s bracket. So far, they seem to be proving us right.
Great move splitting the defenders and finishing at the rim for Oregon’s Payton Pritchard.
It’s too bad that Bol Bol has been out for most of the year because it would have been fun to see him defend Wisconsin’s Ethan Happ. Bol had a 12.4 percent block rate in nine games, per KenPom.
