Jake wrote about Wofford as the unheralded mid-major that can make some noise. Buffalo also fits that mold out of the MAC. Ranked 21st by KenPom (Wofford is 18), the Bulls are a legitimate second-weekend team. They are also fun to watch: Among tourney teams, only UNC plays at a faster pace.

One 12-5 game already ended in an upset (Murray State over Marquette). The other one so far was very close, but Auburn ended up beating New Mexico State by 1. I’m guessing a lot of people like Oregon in this matchup.
