What Went Down In The First Round Of The NCAA Tournament

Wish we had more star power in the opening game. Last season’s tournament opened with a bang as we got Trae Young and the Sooners vs. Rhode Island. Only one player from Louisville-Minnesota is projected to be taken in the draft (Jordan Nwora).

This is a battle of some cold teams late in the season. Since the start of February, Minnesota and Louisville are a combined 9-16 going into the NCAA tourney.

Louisville has a 68 percent chance to win our first game, according to our model.
