While there is still a lot we don’t know about the app used on caucus night, what we do know demonstrates exactly why Iowa Democrats should have known better than to use an app at all. A number of completely foreseeable problems emerged that could have been avoided, like the fact that many caucus chairs couldn’t even download the app due to poor cell phone reception.
