What Did — And Didn’t — Go Down In The Iowa Caucuses

Just a reminder about just how unrepresentative Iowa is — the preliminary entrance poll data now says that 92 percent of caucusgoers are white.

To state something pretty obvious, the closer the results are, the more the spin wars in the next few days are going to matter. (And the more annoying they’ll be.)

The early results lean toward the satellite caucuses, but it looks like there’s a bit of data from election night caucuses also. With that said, these numbers are probably from smaller caucuses that you might expect to be good for candidates like Buttigieg and Klobuchar.
