What Did — And Didn’t — Go Down In The Iowa Caucuses

Laura, that’s a good reminder that, while we journalists and political junkies love the site, most Americans don’t use Twitter.

Republicans are holding a caucus tonight too! Unsurprisingly, Trump is running away with them. With 4 percent of precincts reporting, the president is taking 98 percent of the vote.

We know that Democrats on Twitter are not particularly reflective of the Democratic party. The preliminary entrance poll results provide more evidence of this: Only 18 percent of respondents say they “regularly use Twitter for political news,” compared to 81 percent who say they don’t.
