I think that’s a key point, Perry. “Investigations” and “investigate” seems like a not-so-coded word in this case. It’s in that space where I think Republicans will build their defense.

From Sondland and other witnesses, it seems like Trump himself used the phrase “investigations” a lot and the terms “Burisma” and “Biden” much less frequently. It sounds like Giuliani was more direct.
