Seems like an email that Sondland just read is new. He wrote it to Pompeo: “Mike – Kurt and I negotiated a statement from Ze[lensky] to be delivered for our review in a day or two. The contents will hopefully make the boss happy enough to authorize an invitation. Ze plans to have a big presser on the openness subject (including specifics) next week.” Sondland emphasized its value in his reading of it — it’s clear that he wants to make sure that everyone knows how looped in Pompeo was about the whole Giuliani/Ukraine fiasco.

Chad, all that phrase does is make me want a sequel to the movie “In The Loop” about the Ukraine scandal.

Sondland again repeats the phrase, “Everyone was in the loop.” The self-preservation message here is clear: If he’s the bad guy for executing this policy, so are a lot of other people.
