What Went Down During Gordon Sondland’s Testimony

Perry, I actually find that pretty believable. I don’t remember short phone calls I made four months ago, either. But the fact that he didn’t remember isn’t good for Trump. In fact, it emphasizes how ho-hum the topic of investigations would have been to Sondland — which is obviously damning for the president.

Sondland being unable to remember this call with Trump is hard for me to believe. Maybe he talks to Trump a lot but …

I mean Galen, if Giuliani wasn’t so erratic when speaking in public, I think they’d potentially be a lot more eager to have him testify under the scenario where all this was Giuliani’s idea. But it would be a real wild card to put him in front of Congress, especially if he’s trying to toe the line between protecting the president and protecting himself.
