What Went Down During Gordon Sondland’s Testimony
Jinx, Galen! Bolton has expressed willingness to testify — but only if he has a court order telling him he has to comply with Democrats’ subpoenas. Democrats aren’t willing to play that game with him (a game of “rope-a-dope,” in Schiff’s colorful parlance) so I’d also say it’s currently unlikely that we’ll hear from Bolton. But of all these high-profile witnesses, he’s the one who seems likeliest to change his mind and testify voluntarily.
But Bolton has also said he won’t testify until the courts clarify whether he needs to, meaning more waiting for Democrats when they want to move on to the primary.
But c’mon, isn’t anyone holding out hope that John Bolton comes forward? Amelia and Galen are right that it isn’t likely, but wow — that would be one heck of a hearing.
