What Went Down During Gordon Sondland’s Testimony
As Nunes talks, worth noting this Washington Examiner article out today. Headline: “‘It doesn’t matter’: House Republicans embrace ‘quid pro quo”
Nate, I think Schiff and Nunes are trying to set the tone for the day? I do think people pay attention to the frame-up, the spin. But also, in more sophisticated analysis YOU GOTTA GET THAT SCREEN TIME, BABY.
As someone who isn’t watching these hearings in as much detail as most of you are, can I ask a question? What is accomplished by these REALLLLLLLY long opening statements from Schiff? Especially when the testimony is going to be explosive, why not get to it faster?
